What is the procedure for starting with a new manufacturer?
- Scheduling
a dedicated sales meeting about the new line presented by the
manufacturer including samples, catalogs, and all tools necessary
to sell the line on the road.
- An existing
account list is needed showing dates of last invoices
- All existing
accounts are contacted within 60 days
- A letter
is sent to all existing and prospective retailers announcing the
appointment of The Winters Group as the new sales force

New representatives are trained at the main office in order to learn about the manufacturers we sell and our procedures. The new rep goes out on the road with a seasoned rep various times during the training process to help them learn their territory, the stores, and the product lines. This is an ongoing process, with follow-up on a consistent basis.
